Real-time CAN bus gauges for your car — no cutting, no drilling, no permanent modifications. Just plug into the OBD2 port every modern car already has, connect your phone to the Bridge's WiFi, and configure everything in a browser.
The KAIZO Bridge plugs into the OBD2 port your car already has — under the dash, no tools, five seconds. It sits there silently drawing power from the port. The car has no idea it's there.
Inside the Bridge, one CAN transceiver listens to your car's internal network in complete silence — never transmitting a single byte back to the car. RPM, boost, oil temp, throttle position, wheel speeds. All of it, in real time.
A second CAN transceiver rebroadcasts that data on a completely separate private bus. Your car's electronics are isolated and protected. The gauges live on this private bus only — they never touch your car's network.
The Bridge hosts its own WiFi hotspot. Connect your phone, open a browser, and you get a web interface — no app download required. Select your car, assign parameters to gauges, save. Config is stored in flash memory on each gauge and persists forever.
The heart of the system. A small sealed box housing an ESP32-P4 and two CAN transceivers — one that listens to your car in silence, one that rebroadcasts to your gauges in isolation. Hosts its own WiFi hotspot for browser-based configuration.
Coming SoonA 2.1" round high-brightness display powered by an ESP32-S3. Connects to the Bridge via a single cable carrying both power and CAN data. Multiple gauges daisy-chain from that one cable. 1000 nit brightness — readable in direct sunlight. Renders via LVGL. Fits standard 52mm gauge pods.
Coming SoonSame hardware as the Gauge, different soul. Sachi's expressions are driven entirely by live CAN bus data. Sachi shivers on cold starts, goes mental during a VTEC pull, sweats when coolant climbs. Mood even persists between drives. Nothing else on the market does this.
Coming SoonA standalone device with a female OBD2 port and USB-C power. An ESP32 and CAN transceiver inside broadcast realistic fake car data — cold starts, VTEC pulls, hard braking, cruising. Plug the Bridge straight in and configure your entire system on the workbench. No car needed.
Coming SoonKAIZO Sachi (幸 — happiness) runs on the same hardware as the KAIZO Gauge but instead of numbers and arcs, Sachi displays an animated character driven entirely by live CAN bus data. Not running pre-programmed animations — Sachi genuinely feels what the car is doing, in real time. Mood even persists between drives, stored in flash memory on the gauge itself.
Every line of Bridge and Gauge firmware is public. Add support for your car, build custom displays, fork and adapt. The community can build on it.
When the firmware is open source, you can see exactly what's in the box. No mystery markup. The kit price is obvious value — hardware plus our engineering.
Community-contributed CAN bus profiles for hundreds of cars. If your car's profile exists, setup takes minutes. If not, add it and share it back.
Configuration runs entirely in a browser over the Bridge's built-in WiFi hotspot. No app to download, no account to create, no cloud. Connect your phone, open a browser, done. The gauges work whether or not your phone is anywhere near the car.
The KAIZO Simulator exists so you can develop and test entirely without a car. Build a custom Sachi character, design a gauge face, contribute to the codebase.
Unplug the Bridge and the car returns to exactly how it was. No trace. No modification. This is the system traditional gauge brands couldn't build.
OBD2 became mandatory across the EU from 2001 and in the US from 1996. If your car was built in the last 25 years, it has an OBD2 port. KAIZO Bridge works with all of them — your car's network is read in complete silence, nothing ever transmitted back.
Multiple gauges daisy-chain from a single cable off the Bridge — power and CAN data on one run. Each gauge stores its own configuration in flash memory, so everything comes back exactly as you left it every time you start the car. The Bridge handles OTA firmware updates for itself and every connected gauge over WiFi.
The KAIZO Simulator lets you build and test your entire setup on the workbench — realistic drive cycles including cold starts, VTEC pulls and hard braking, broadcast from a device the size of a hockey puck. When you're done, unplug from the Simulator and plug into your car. Everything works identically.
